Sananga Shawadawa Medium
A Balanced Sananga Experience
Sananga Medium is a traditional Amazonian botanical preparation made from plants of the Tabernaemontana family and prepared by the Shawãdawa people of Acre, Brazil.
Medium sits between the gentler Light variety and the more intense Força, offering a balanced traditional experience with noticeable intensity.
Why Choose Sananga Medium?
Sananga Medium is suited to those looking for something more pronounced than Light without moving directly to the intensity of Força.
It offers a balanced place within our Sananga range and can be a natural next step for those already familiar with gentler preparations.

More Than a Botanical Preparation
Sananga holds an important place in the traditions of several Indigenous peoples of the Amazon. Within these traditions, it forms part of a broader ritual practice connected with presence, intention, awareness and energetic cleansing.
One concept often associated with Amazonian ritual traditions is panema — a state described as heaviness, stagnation or disconnection. These practices are traditionally approached with respect and conscious intention.
Made by the Shawãdawa People
The Shawãdawa, also known as the Arara Shawãdawa, are an Indigenous people of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon who belong to the wider Pano cultural and linguistic family. Despite severe pressure on their land, language and traditions during the rubber boom and later development of the region, they have worked to revive their language, rituals and ancestral knowledge. Their culture remains deeply connected to the rainforest and includes traditional practices such as Mariri ceremonies, Sinbu (Ayahuasca) and Rapé.
